Just over 1 year ago we got my son, Carson, a ukulele for his 9th Birthday and he has not put it down.  He became obsessed and determined to learn every song he could.  He turns 10 this month.  Since last year he has moved on to the guitar and loves playing that more than the Uke.  The ukulele was a way for him to learn to play successfully.  It allowed him to stay excited because it is a much easier instrument to learn.  I am excited to see where music takes him.

Here we are messing around and covering the song I’m Yours by Jason Mraz.  We need to record some more songs.  He has a really sweet sounding voice too but he’s not ready to share that.
