Hey guys I’m back! Had to take a little break because of too much going on. We put on a sick Team Competition at our Box called Battle of the Boxes (check out the photos on our Battle of the Boxes Facebook Page) earlier this month so that along with training, running the box, and being a daddy & husband I haven’t been able to post as much as I would have liked to. Also, went on some road trips with Tony Blauer for the Be Your Own Bodyguard Workshop. Been having fun and trying to get healthy.
My wrist is finally healthy and I am feeling good. I am working exclusively with Brian Mackenzie for all my programming. I really like what he is doing with me and its nice not having to decide what to do. He makes me do things I wouldn’t force myself to do on my own. I open up my program from him and do the work. Simple. Here is a video of me right after smashing Jackie on Saturday night at the box alone. Felt amazing. I ended up getting 5:55 which was a 22 second improvement since May of this year. This was a huge confidence builder for me. Knowing that when I hit my previous Jackie, in May this year, I was getting ready to go to the Games so I was at the top of my game. So when I beat that time it helped me realize that even though I have been dealing with some nagging injuries like my wrist and achilles for a few months I am still getting better. Got me pretty pumped and I thought I would get my thoughts on video so I could look back at this anytime and remember. Train Hard.
